It was freezing cold today!!! temperature was around 0 deg C.
Watch a musical, Ballerina who loves B boy with my friends at Lotte world!!! the dancers were damn HOT. It's a show about a ballerina who fell in love with a break dancer. their moves were COOL shit. the guys were hot and good-looking. I heard from my friend that they will be going to Singapore! should catch it :)
Lotte world is the place where they filmed stairway to heaven. I didn't visit the amusement park today because it was raining!! it was so cold that it was raining ice bits.
Orientation's tomorrow.. gotta turn in early today.

second day in Korea, temperature 3 deg celcius
The moment I got out of the airport, it was freezing cold. It felt as though I was sticking my head into the freezer the whole time.
Youna came and pick me up at the airport and we took a 50 minutes coach ride to Ewha Womans University. My 23.5Kg luggage and my laptop hand carry bag was killing me! I had to drag my luggage on bumpy paths, up and down slopes for 10 minutes before I finally reach my dorm. PHEW.
Room was good, huge and cosy. I'm living on the 7th floor, which is the highest level, so my room is in the attic. High ceiling :).
First day was not good for me. I realised I forgot to buy travel adapter! and my phone and laptop were low on battery. Missed home utterly... all I had was a land phone and an international call card. Called home, chatted with Kenken and glad.. and I felt better. :) My roomie came back the next morning (probably went clubbing, haha). She's Ayaka, a Japanese. A very neat and tidy person, which makes me more aware of my tidyness.
The following morning, I went out alone to get my travel adapter. I thought I would have to spend these few days alone.. but luckily, 2 of my other SMU friends asked me out :))). Took the subway with them and went to a Casino! :) They were really nice to me. Friends are all I have out here.. and money. Issey was right. In a foreign land, money is power. I'll be going to Lotte world tomorrow with them! It's the theme park where they filmed "stairway to Heaven"!
My Hongkong trip was fun. other than waking up to a different TV channel everyday, and having to stay in the hotel room alone, everything else was awesome. :) Great food, shopping, vibe, accompany and climate.
Me: this place is like a natural air-con.

a trial post
Just got back from Gladys' place after all the KINECT fun with Kenken and Glad. TECHNOLOGY IS AMAZING.
Anyway, I decided to do up this blog to jot down and post updates about me during my exchange in Korea. :)
I've been meeting my dear friends for awesome farewell dinners for the past 5 days? I think I'm fortunate to have them around me. They make me feel appreciated, (somewhat) important and worthy of their time. heh :) love 'em.
Will be embarking on my exchange to Ewha Womans University on 25th Feb for the spring exchange semester 2011, at Seoul, Korea. Womans uni? yes, it's a "girls' school". All the locals who study there are FEMALES. haha. Apparently, they accept guys on exchange. That's a bit weird, I know. Well, better than no guys in school. Hahaha.
But before that, I will be going to HK on the 23rd (which is tomorrow!!) to meet my HK friend.
I'm excited about this exchange but part of me also feels quite sad to have to leave my friends and family here. Maybe becos I'll be going to Korea alone. It'll be my virgin lone trip. Anyhow, I'll embrace it. It's gonna be a life-changing (you sure?), mind blowing (I hope) and absolutely enjoyable experience. and PLUS, my Korean buddy, Youna, will be coming to meet me at the airport. YAY! :D (She's 5 years my junior by the way.)
